Red Marlin strengthens its leadership team with new appointment

Red Marlin, the automotive communications specialist, is pleased to announce the appointment of Liam O’Neill as its commercial director, further enhancing its expertise in future mobility.

Liam joins from the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) – an organisation investing £1bn to develop low carbon vehicle technologies – where he was the corporate communications manager responsible for running the press office as well as its communications strategy, including launching APC’s connected and automated mobility arm, Zenzic.

A former Jaguar Land Rover global technology and innovation storyteller, where he was tasked to focus solely on the communications of the OEM’s low carbon, connected and automated technology, Liam has also previously worked agency-side and at the Express bringing a wealth of experience working with some of the biggest names in the industry. This spans vehicles manufacturers to tier 1 suppliers and consultancies including: Vauxhall, Ferrari, Nissan, Ford Motor Company, McLaren, Williams Advanced Engineering, Prodrive to name a few.
