CV Show 2019 logo

Counting down to the CV Show 2019

It’s that time of year again! The Commercial Vehicle Show, Britain’s biggest road transport event, is back and the Red Marlin team is looking forward to supporting our clients from 30th April to 2nd May at the NEC, Birmingham.

With more than 450 exhibitors, from OEMs to SMEs, the CV Show is the perfect opportunity to see a huge range of products, equipment, software and services that are leading the way in developing technology and solutions to address the changing needs and requirements of commercial vehicles operators.

This year’s show will feature two zones, ‘Workshop’ and ‘Cool’. While the ‘Workshop’ zone includes hundreds of exhibitors spanning the whole automotive aftermarket and CV maintenance sector, the ‘Cool’ zone is dedicated to temperature controlled transport and cold chain equipment.

So what’s happening? Among a long list of debuts and reveals, we’re particularly interested to see the increased EV presence at this year’s show. Volkswagen will be exhibiting its all-electric versions of the Caddy, Transporter and eCrafter. LDV will also unveil its new EV van ahead of its 2020 sale date, which is capable of 120-mile range on a single charge and can be fully charged in less than 90 minutes!

Also exhibiting at the show, and for the very first time, is our client Yokohama. The Japanese tyre brand will be displaying its range of premium van tyres developed with the latest technologies to provide vans, minibuses, SUVs and off-roaders the reliability, durability and all year round mobility required by today’s fleet operators. As a client of Red Marlin, we will be present on the Yokohama stand to throughout the show to manage media enquiries and all things PR.

So if you’re making you’re way to Birmingham for the CV show, send us a tweet @RedMarlinPR and come and say “hi”!
