September’s automotive digital marketing agency highlights

As summer slowly slips away, one thing remains hot…and that’s the PR and marketing activity at automotive and digital marketing agency Red Marlin.

September saw fantastic national, regional and special interest media coverage for our clients.

This included expert comment for UK motorists to help them stay safe and legal behind the wheel, a debut classic car auction at a new venue, advice for drivers if they have received a parking fine via text, a B2B marketing campaign for a leading tyre manufacturer, and a visit to the home of British motorsport.

Read on to discover September’s highlights.

National news coverage for return to work driving advice

As people went back to work after the summer holiday, our efforts for leading driving experience provider TrackDays.co.uk resulted in valuable national news coverage.

Following an outreach by Red Marlin team members, well known media outlets such as the Daily Express and the Daily Record were keen to warn their readers of little-known driving habits that could lead to hefty fines on the UK’s roads.

The story also appeared regionally, such as on Lancashire Live, proving that a topic with mass appeal will be welcomed by a wide variety of media platforms.

Expert commentary results in UK wide media exposure

Further outreach on behalf of YourParkingSpace resulted in an incredible 122 online news articles.

Red Marlin account manager Joe Slinn was quick to spot an opportunity for the popular parking marketplace by issuing advice to drivers who have received a parking fine by text.

The YourParkingSpace guidance warned drivers to never pay a parking fine via text message as councils and reputable private parking operators do not ask for payment in this way.

News coverage appeared on countless good and strong domain websites, and also across the country, as far afield as Bolton, Brentwood, Norfolk, Cumbria and Scotland.

Dazzling debut for new auction venue

September also saw renowned auction house H&H Classics hold its first sale at the spectacular Kelham Hall in Nottinghamshire.

The highly anticipated auction, H&H’s sixth classic, collector and performance motorcar sale of 2025, drew an international audience and saw some incredible results.

Red Marlin team members was also on hand to support the H&H team, while pre- and post-news coverage surrounding the successful auction appeared in the UK and internationally, including on the esteemed classic car magazine, Magneto

Our team was also delighted to provide marketing support to Yokohama HPT Ltd as it held a supplier week with one of the UK’s largest tyre retail chains.

A supplier pack, including marketing materials designed and produced by Red Marlin, went to Kwik Fit retailers across the UK as part of the activity.

Yokohama team members also visited Kwik Fit head offices with three coffee mornings. There was great engagement, and the hot beverages and pastries were clearly appreciated!

Making tracks to the home of motorsport

Red Marlin’s managing director, Danny Rughoobeer, was invited to Silverstone by the team at Gibson Technology Ltd.

It was a fantastic day enjoying an incident-packed round of the European Le Mans Series at the world-famous Northamptonshire race circuit in testing weather conditions.

A big thanks to Mark Brittan and all the Gibson Technology team for such a warm welcome and memorable day.
