Global media coverage generated by Red Marlin has helped one of its automotive clients achieve a record-breaking, year-end finale.

Promotion of Silverstone Auctions’ classic car sale the NEC Classic Motor Show was handled by the Warwickshire PR and communications agency, with substantial pre-event media coverage and online buzz generated around the globe.

Such was the success of the event’s promotion that Silverstone Auctions achieved its highest ever sales total and conversion rate at the sale. Interest in the lots on offer resulted in phone and online bids from around the world including China, Singapore and the USA, as well as a bumper crowd attending in person at the auction hall.
