Red Marlin had the pleasure of attending the fantastic Race Retro 2019 show, right on our doorstep in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire this past weekend. The event was filled with classic cars and retro motorsport action, with thousands of classic car enthusiasts in attendance.

A number of famous faces appeared on the Motor Sport Live Stage including touring car legend Anthony Reid, Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis and rally star and father of the late Colin McRae, Jimmy McRae. The action wasn’t restrained to the live stage though as many retro rally cars took to the specially set up rally stage in the grounds of Stoneleigh Park.

Red Marlin was in attendance to assist Silverstone Auctions with their sale, providing on site media relations and support. The event also provided a valuable networking opportunity with over 190 exhibitors at the show covering everything from leather care to car transporters.

The show also featured the Motor Sport Hall of Fame which had a broad variety of classic racing cars on display including an Audi R8C which competed at Le Mans in 1999 and the Williams FW11 Formula One car driven to the 1987 championship victory by Nelson Piquet.
