Classic Car Auctions was founded in January 2015 by Silverstone Auctions, and aims to sell more affordable classic cars, branding them as ‘Everyman Classics’.

When Silverstone Auctions were planning the launch of a new specialist auction house, they immediately sought the PR and marketing expertise of Red Marlin. Since the launch event in March 2015, CCA have gone from strength to strength. In its first year alone it gained over 4000 Facebook followers, reached and audience of more than 48 million people and had over 1000 registered bidders with sale on sale growth.

Alongside this, CCA featured on the One Show and was invited to host an auction at Chris Evans’ CarFest.

Red Marlin forms a strategic and bespoke PR plan for every auction event, utilising our key media contacts for the most interesting cars. A custom social media plan, designed to engage with customers and build online presence is implemented, including auction promotion and customer targeting.
