Autogas Limited chose to work with Red Marlin thanks to our specialist automotive focus and understanding of the changing position of LPG within the road fuel landscape.

With the UK gripped by recession, our early media campaigns focusing on the cost-saving potential of LPG hit the mark with consumer and money-saving press, with tactics including real life user case studies and demo car loans to key journalists and bloggers.

As the economic outlook improved our approach evolved to recognise the increasing news of poor air quality by promoting LPG’s ‘green’ credentials. We capitalised on this shift to step up Autogas’ political profile by arranging parliamentary briefings and press conferences during a global industry forum in London.

Our strategic consultancy influenced Autogas’ decision to stimulate demand and inject quality into the LPG retrofit market by establishing its own network of conversion centres.

We carried out in-depth market studies and developed detailed plans to launch the network to specific consumer groups such as driving instructors and taxi drivers.

Meanwhile our management of Autogas’ social media platforms has significantly boosted its engagement levels, with our topical blogs for its website generating further news coverage.

Four vehicle trials arranged for key sector press in a three month period.

11 new LPG sites launched.

“Throughout our initial meetings we found Red Marlin full of knowledge and enthusiasm.

Since working with them we have become used to receiving from Red Marlin first-rate press releases, regular content for our website, arranging of loans of autogas LPG vehicles to local and national journalists along with follow-up coverage, advice on the design and content of our marketing material and research and preparation of real-life case-studies of everyday autogas LPG motorists throughout Great Britain.”
