November saw temperatures in the UK drop but the action was hotter than ever at Red Marlin, clearly underlining the importance of our digital agency support in PR and media activity.

There was amazing worldwide earned media coverage for a brand-new automotive client, plus global, national and regional press coverage for a car with royal connections, the hot topic of pavement parking, motorists flouting the 20mph speed limit and important seasonal parking advice.

Extensive global press coverage for new client and its car launch

Red Marlin November highlights

We were delighted to recently start working with Talos Vehicles.

The company’s handcrafted niche vehicles perfectly blend in-house vision and engineering with the skills of the best-in-class experts, showcasing British engineering at its finest.

Our remit includes managing Talos Vehicles’ global PR activity and marketing communications, starting with the unveiling of the incredible Talos XXT, which is limited to a production run of just five units worldwide.

Befitting the amazing Talos XXT, our in-depth work involved identifying the most appropriate media channels suited for this unique vehicle, while delivering the launch messages to immediately attract the attention of influential motoring journalists across the planet.

The result already is more than 200 pieces of incredible news coverage, and counting. Prestigious media outlets covering the Talos XXT launch included SupercarBlondie and EVO.

It’s been an awesome start with Talos Vehicles and we look forward to creating even more exciting news for them throughout 2026 when they will be launching more head-turning supercar creations.

King Charles’ Bentley is another crowning glory in November

Red Marlin looks back at November

Our PR and media work for renowned auction house H&H Classics often sees them in the national press, and we were at it again in November.

This time all eyes were focussed on a 2013 Bentley Mulsanne, used by HRH King Charles III for multiple engagements when he was the Prince of Wales, which is to be auctioned on Wednesday 3rd December at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire.

There were multiple media hits around the world, from Australia to Greece, for the car with royal connections.

Other popular news outlets including This is Money, The Robb Report, and the Daily Mirror, were also keen to showcase the car with Royal provenance.

Driving the media narrative across the UK with digital agency support

November was also incredibly successful on the media front for our client DrivingExperience.com.

Working with one of our key media contacts, we secured more than 120 pieces of press coverage by supplying timely advice for motorists.

Our creative work centred on the hazards of parking under a tree with falling leaves, which can harm a car’s paintwork and structure.

Imran Malek, corporate sales manager at DrivingExperience.com, was a perfect spokesperson to provide automotive insight, not least as the client has a proactive approach to media relations, is quick to react and offer opinion when appropriate.

As a result, regional news outlets across the country, including the Oxford Mail and the York Press, passed on the advice to their readers, thereby raising brand awareness for our client together with valuable backlinks which further boosted their SEO efforts.

This success alone proves the value of having the inside track with journalistic sources.

However, this was just the tip of the media iceberg for DrivingExperience.com in November because it wasn’t long before they were making the headlines again.

Our nose for a news story, together with analysing official data, identified that Britain’s 20-mph speed limits are being widely ignored.

This important road safety story was given valuable exposure in the national and regional press, such as The Sun and The Mirror, plus online in Yorkshire Live and The Chronicle, putting the brand prominently again in front of the eyes of millions of UK motorists.

News stories that impact everyone

Some automotive topics affect nearly all of us, no matter if you own a car or do not. Their importance means they are of often in the news agenda, providing opportunities for us to gain valuable media coverage for our clients.

This time it’s the issue of pavement parking and whether it should be banned across the UK.

Working on behalf of YourParkingSpace, we maximise their authority on all parking related issues to position them as a voice to be listened to, including a balanced approach to the issue of pavement parking.

This meant that YourParkingSpace appeared in The Daily Express and The Birmingham Mail, plus more, while the subject of pavement parking is more than likely to be making the news again in 2026.

Running a special winter campaign

Red Marlin running a special offer on classic car heating systems

Classic cars are often tucked away over the winter months, making it an ideal time to commission upgrades without losing precious time behind the wheel.

It was this message, coupled with a special offer, which saw Clayton Classics, with our help, reach out to the classic car community so they can enjoy their cars all year round.
