Rhys worked as an English teacher for 11 years with 7 of those as a successful Head of English before making the decision to switch careers into PR.

Originally trained as a journalist with a specialism in the sports industry, Rhys brings with him experience in long-term strategic planning as well as strong communication skills.

Rhys has also previously volunteered as a regional advocate for registered charity, LitDrive whose aims are to support English teachers in creating a better balance with their workload. Following his appointment at Red Marlin, he switched his role and now volunteers as the charity’s lead communications analyst.

When he’s not working at Red Marlin, Rhys can be found out in the wilderness either on a hike with his two Dalmatians or trying to get the perfect landscape photo.
